Wolseley UK has outsourced the management of all branch recruitment to ResourceBank, the leading Talent and HR Solutions organisation. Commencing 8th April 2016, the contract covers recruitment of branch colleagues across all of Wolseley UK’s trading brands, including Plumb and Parts Center, Pipe Center, Climate Center and Burdens, as well as Wolseley UK’s growing network of bathroom showrooms.
The partnership includes the adoption of a shared Avature applicant tracking and candidate relationship management system. This will provide a tailored workflow, a personalised candidate and manager experience, advanced Social Media integration and enhanced search, e-mail marketing and analytics functionality with the addition of both a careers and interview booking portal.
ResourceBank’s team of “talent ninja” recruiters expect to recruit over 650 people across the branch network, in addition to apprenticeship and graduates campaigns, by using the most up to date social media and direct sourcing methods.
Wolseley UK

ResourceBank Managing Director Richard Pearson commented:
“We are delighted that Wolseley UK has appointed ResourceBank to manage its branch recruitment. What is really pleasing is that we have been able to demonstrate our abilities over the last two years by supporting Wolseley UK on specific projects such as the recruitment of a new team when their distribution centre opened in Leicestershire. By delivering successfully on these projects, we have been able to demonstrate our capabilities, and we are now looking forward to delivering on all of the branch recruitment for the next few years.”
