The ResourceBank RPO team which provides an outsourced recruitment service to World Duty Free Group has been short-listed for the prestigious Recruiter Awards 2015. The Recruiter Awards are the largest and most competitive awards for the UK recruitment industry and the winners will be announced at the ceremony on 6th May at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The team has been shortlisted in the “Best Embedded Recruitment Team” category, which is awarded “to an embedded recruitment team employed by an outsourced recruitment organisation for achieving outstanding success in its work with a client.”
World Duty Free Group (WDFG) is the UK’s leading travel retailer with stores at 21 airports throughout the UK. WDFG first outsourced recruitment to ResourceBank in 2007 when the business needed to recruit more than 150 new team members for the opening of its new ‘flagship’ store at London Heathrow Terminal 5. As a result of the success of the T5 project, ResourceBank were asked to establish a permanent embedded team to run recruitment for Heathrow and Gatwick initially. Again, as a direct result of the embedded team’s performance ResourceBank’s responsibility and reach has consistently increased year on year so in 2014, the team were responsible for:
- All 21 separate UK WDFG locations
- Permanent and seasonal customer service and leadership roles
- 35,033 individual candidate applications
- 2,887 telephone interviews
- 804 new hires
