ResourceBank’s collaboration with DHL Global Forwarding saw 59 people hired for a brand new team in just under 8 weeks

DHL is the world’s largest logistics company serving in over 220 countries and with offices operating in 22 countries. DHL Global Forwarding UK have a Head Office based in Chertsey with additional locations across UK and Europe, employing over 45,000 staff worldwide within the Global Forwarding division. Offering Air, Ocean, Road and Rail freight services, plus bespoke Solutions and Customs brokerage services, DHL operate in a variety of industries including, Auto Mobility, Chemicals, Consumer, Energy, Engineering and Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Healthcare, Public Sector, Retail and Technology.
DHL Global Forwarding approached ResourceBank in October 2020, wanting to create a substantial new Customs Team as a result of Brexit comprising of 72 people. With a quick turnaround required, DHL GF came to us for assistance and were not disappointed.
Implementation
ResourceBank established a dedicated team of staff and quickly started sourcing candidates. From nearly 900 applications our average time to hire from shortlist was just 8.5 days, and we are now at 59 successful hires.
